Chocolate Chip Cookie Pie

Yield: 8 servings
Oven Temperature: 325 degrees F

Ingredients:
1 Basic Pie Crust
2 large eggs
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup white granulated sugar
1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
3/4 cup (1 1/2 sticks) butter, softened
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1 cup chopped nuts (optional)



Chocolate Chip Cookie Pie

Directions:
Beat eggs with an electric or hand mixer on high speed until foamy. Beat in flour, white sugar, and brown sugar. Beat butter into mixture. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts.

Spoon mixture into 1 prepared basic pie c rust. Using your fingers, fold the edges of the crust under to make a smooth edge. With two fingers, pinch the smoothed edge of the pie to make it decorative.

Bake the pie in a 325 degree oven for 55 - 60 minutes or until a knife inserted halfway between the edge and center of the pie comes out clean. Cool the pie on a wire rack and serve warm with whipped cream or ice cream.
