Strawberry Chocolate Cheese Pie

Yield: 8 servings
Oven Temperature: 375 degrees F

Ingredients:
1 Basic Pie Crust, baked
2 oz. semisweet chocolate squares
1 tablespoon butter
6 oz. cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup sour cream
3 tablespoons white granulated sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
3 - 4 cups fresh strawberries, tops removed
1/3 cup strawberry jam


Strawberry Chocolate Cheese Pie

Directions:
In a saucepan, melt the chocolate and butter over low heat, stirring constantly. Spread or brush the chocolate over the bottom and sides of the pie crust. Chill.

In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese, sour cream, sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Spread the cheese mixture over the chocolate layer. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 2 hours.

After pie has cooled, arrange the whole strawberries, tip end up, on cream cheese filling. Warm the strawberry jam in a small saucepan over low heat on the stovetop (or in the microwave) until jam has thinned to a spreadable consistency. Brush the jam over the strawberries. Melt a little chocolate and drizzle over the top of the pie. Enjoy!
